We're not a factory. We're a shop. Every cutting board is glued up, planed, sanded, and finished by hand. Every goblet is turned one at a time on the lathe. We use wood from local trees whenever we can — maple, cherry, walnut, oak, spalted finds from the firewood pile. If there's a knot or a bark inclusion, we leave it in. That's not a defect, that's character.
